Église Saint-Julien

Free access outside with information panel. Visit of the interiors on request. Building of the XIth century with a barrel vaulted nave counterbalanced by the quarter-circle vaults of the side aisles on the Auvergne model.

Partage :

The nave is composed of four ancient bays and a modern western bay. The apse has a flat chevet with two rectangular chapels. The square bell tower has a reworked Romanesque floor with two round arched bays, and is crowned by a modern bell tower. The church offers a great variety of painted decorations superimposed over time from the Middle Ages to the 19th century.
